To further ease the use of selected functions of your GV60, a vehicle wireless software update will be conducted as follows. As the OTA software update is performed sequentially, the start and finish timing for the update may vary from vehicle to vehicle.

Software Update Campaign


This OTA software update for the Vehicle System aims to improve the productivity of the autonomous parking system.


1. General Information


•  Target model: GV60 (JW1)

•  Target units: SVM (Surround View Monitor) and RSPA 2 (Remote Smart Parking Assist 2)

•  Prerequisite condition: Genesis Connected Services in active state


2. Update event information


•  Purpose: To improve the productivity of the autonomous parking system

•  Event Release: February 2024.

•  Service cost: No extra payment is required

•  Customer Support during the campaign: Customer support due to an issue during the campaign is available through contacting Genesis Customer Care 1800 90 80 70.

•  Remark: Driving the vehicle is not possible during the update. Updating is also available at the Genesis authorised workshop.

2. Improving top view visibility of Surround View Monitor

3. Improving top view border variable logic of Surround View Monitor

4. Function to reselect parking space of Remote Smart Parking Assist 2

The owner can check the related information from the AVNT (In-vehicle navigation display device) pop-up message ahead of the update installation.
