- TORONTO, ON - June 12, 2024 – Genesis Canada has announced pricing for the new 2025 GV80 SUV. The 2025 GV80 features exterior design and styling updates, as well as a comprehensive interior redesign. The redesigned GV80 elevates the experience for drivers and passengers alike with new enhancements throughout.
- “The 2025 GV80 brings a new level of elevated cabin experience to the Genesis SUV lineup, making all occupants feel like honoured guests,” says Eric Marshall, director of Genesis Motors Canada. “Its new 27-inch widescreen display and array of new interior colours, materials, and finishes introduce an even greater sense of elegance to GV80.”

- The 2025 GV80 comes with two powertrain options: a gasoline 2.5L turbo inline-4 engine, which delivers 300 horsepower, and a gasoline 3.5L twin turbo V6 engine, which produces a maximum output of 375 horsepower. Both options feature robust performance, which is accentuated with refined interior design updates, including an available two-tone coloured steering wheel, redesigned wireless smartphone charging tray, and enlarged console cup holders.
- New exterior colours Storr Green and Storr Green Matte are inspired by the deep green landscape of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. New interior colours include Smoky Green / Vanilla Beige, Ultramarine Blue / Glacier White, Smoky Green / Earth Brown, and Slate Gray / Bordeaux Brown.
- The 2025 GV80 2.5T Standard AWD comes equipped with Genesis’ advanced driver assistance systems and features. New standard equipment includes a 27-inch OLED integrated instrument cluster and navigation touchscreen, Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates for map and multimedia software and vehicle modules, Fingerprint Authentication System, USB Type-C ports, front four-piston fixed monobloc brake callipers, and Two-Line Headlamps with Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology.
- The 2025 GV80 3.5T Advanced AWD includes all the aforementioned features, as well as seven-passenger seating capacity courtesy of its power-folding third row seats, and four-zone climate control to help keep passengers in any row comfortable.
- The 2025 GV80 3.5T Prestige AWD adds 22-inch Alloy wheels and other exclusive features such as Nappa leather seating surfaces, microfiber suede headliner and pillar trim, power heated and ventilated second row seats, heated front console armrest, power door closure and power rear door sunshades, digital rearview mirror, second row vanity mirrors, and a rear electronic limited slip differential.
- GV80 SUV Exterior Design Elements
  The GV80’s front includes a newly designed Two-Line Crest Grille and the signature Two-Line headlamps. The Crest Grille refines the model’s elegance with smoother corner lines, and the sleek design of the Two-Line headlamps, made possible with MLA (Micro Lens Array) technology[i], emphasizing Genesis’ commitment to state-of the-art technology and design excellence.
- The GV80's robust and athletic SUV persona is accentuated with design elements such as larger air intakes and a wide skid plate design on the front bumper, while the patterned emblem adds an elegant finishing touch to the SUV.
- Along the exterior, a new chrome trim extends seamlessly through the sides, exuding a powerful presence from the front to rear bumper.
- Two reinvented wheel designs contribute to GV80’s solid and refined character. The 20-inch design creates a multi-spoke look by intersecting two different spokes with distinct finishings, and the 22-inch option reinterprets the Two-Line design.
- At the rear, the muffler tips hidden in the bumper elevate GV80’s sophistication. Key elements of the Genesis design language add to the model’s image with distinctive V-shape chrome trim inspired by the iconic Crest Grille. The lower part of the bumper imparts a sense of stability with its bold body-coloured line.
- GV80 SUV: Elegant Interior with High-Tech Sensibility
- The interior of the new GV80 accentuates Genesis’ ‘Beauty of Openness’ design language while incorporating new technologies to create a sophisticated ambiance. A 27-inch-wide OLED display integrates the cluster and the AVN (Audio, Video, Navigation) screen, exemplifying the harmony in the combination of a high-tech device with details with its horizontal layout.
- Seamless design extends to the centre fascia, with the touch-based HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system thoughtfully offering driver’s ease of control. The redesigned crystal-like Shift By Wire (SBW) ensures a comfortable, confident grip.
- Quality materials and design enhancements add to GV80’s overall elegance, with elements comprising of horn covers with the new Genesis emblem, two-tone-coloured steering wheel, an improved pedal design, and crash pads and a centre console that feature leather, aluminum, and real wood.
- Furthermore, Genesis has accommodated consumer needs with a redesigned wireless smartphone charging tray that enables more convenient charging and provides improved visibility of the phone while it's charging, an enlarged console cup holder, and a knob-type volume/tune adjustment button.
